THE NEON JUDGEMENT Biography “DOCUMENTARY 2010a1984’

Thirty years ago, they were young, loud and angry.
Today, they’re young at heart, loud and furious. With a heart racing at rhythm machine speed through the black and white game of dark tunnels and sunlit summer days, the Neon Judgment’s rebel engine can not, will not, shall not stop. Because the choice to have a voice can never be a whim. Because they owe it to themselves. And to those who still have eyes to see the medium, the message, the massacre. Thirty years ago, ‘Nion Nion’ was a rally cry. It still is, baby.
In Documentary 2010a1984, The Neon Judgement look back on a rollercoaster career driven by the urgency to make that voice heard. Testimonials by the likes of Dave Clarke, The Hacker and Terence Fixmer witness the fact that it was. Which calls for a celebratory tour.
Accompanied by Documentary 2010a1984, Dirk Da Davo and TB Frank will take to the road with dusted off gems from the past – surprised you will be – and new artillery that looks the present straight in the eye.

The Genitorturers first made a name for themselves in Florida's early 1990's industrial/hard rock scene alongside the now defunct goth/rock outfit Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids. Like their fellow shock rockers, the Genitorturers would soon achieve success after undergoing massive line-up changes.

Now fronted by former bassist Gen, the Genitorturers have taken the extremes of hard rock and combined it with some of the industry’s most talented artists, to give birth to the love child of heavy metal band Dope and 80's punk/rock band the Plasmatics, with the resulting abomination being called ‘Blackheart Revolution’, their brand new album.

With a touring lineup which consists of Angel (Dope/Team Cybergiest), Eric Griffin (Muderdolls/Wednesday13) and Nate Manor (Wednesday 13/Gunfire76) along with such a prominent front women, it’s no wonder this band is widely renowned for their impressive performances. During their European tour The Genitorturers will stop in Aarschot for an exclusive Belgian club show on June 10th in JC De Klinker, either with this lineup, or with Gen backed up by another group of talented sleaze rockers. What we can be sure of though, is that this tour will be one of the best to hit our little country this year.

The Swedish Gothenburg band One Without is the result of taking “The Gothenburg Metal Sound” and implement it into a fusion of metal, rock and pop, making the sound incomparable and fresh.
“The idea has never been to sound like any other specific band, instead we try to focus on making all ideas count, bringing forth a new and fresh sound tracing back to influences of hundreds of other bands.”
With their debute album “Thoughts of a Secluded Mind”, mixed by Mattias Wänerstam (Avatar, Within Y) and mastered by Dragan Tanakovic (Mustach, Europe, In Flames, Evergrey) - two of the bigger names in the Swedish music industry, One Without sets a new standard to todays metal. Formed in 2003 by Joonas Niskanen, the band has grown and evolved into a truly unique form with most of their strength lying in the line up.

Lizard Smile is an Antwerp based Glam/Goth/Bath -Cave Rock formation strongly influence by bands like Bauhaus & The Sisters Of Mercy, to name a few. Lizard Smile released their second album ‘Wayward’ last summer folowed by some great live performances, like the one on the renown Belgian Gothic Festival (July 2009, Waregem) and one at the BodyBeats Nights @ Bar Mondial (September 2009, Antwerp, B).
Both concerts, as well as the new album received massive positive critics from fans and magazines around the world!
