PORTION CONTROL (UK)

Portion Control from the UK was at the forefront of the upcoming electro industrial scene in the early eighties. Inspired by the punk mentality and the first experimental industrial acts such as Throbbing Gristle, SPK or yet Chris & Cosey. Portion Control themselves are one of the most famous obscure electronic music acts in the world and have been honored and name checked by the likes of Depeche Mode, Skinny Puppy, Front Line Assembly, Nine Inch Nails and Orbital.

Then, after an absence of almost 18 (!) years, Portion Control resurrected with the double cd 'Well come' an album kicking with vitality and intelligence combining the original Portion Control spirit (somewhere between experiment and witty electronic pop music) with modern technology.

This 2004 comeback album 'Well Come' got very good, even excellent reviews worldwide and it took not long before Portion Control was invited by Skinny Puppy to open their London gig (2004), a memorable concert that was soon to be followed by appearances on a number of European renown festivals like the BIMFEST (B), Elektrixmas (SE), Tinitus (SE), etc ...

After the release of 'Filthy White Guy' (2006) Portion Control was this time asked by Front Line Assembly to support their European tour in 2007 and a year later the band was invited to play more renown alternative festivals in Europe, like the German WGT festival for instance.

Meanwhile Portion Control have been quiet active releasing albums as ‘Slug’ (2008)!, 'Crop' (2009), 'Violently Alive' (2010), 'Pure Form' (2012), 'Unrest In The Grime' (2014), SEED (3xEP) (2021) & Head Buried (2022).

In 2022 Portion Control crossed the Atlantic ocean for an intensive North American tour, while supporting Front 242 in Boston, NYC, Atlanta, W-Palm Beach & Chicago 

Some of Portion Controls classics songs are ‘The Great Divide’, ‘Rough Justice’, ‘Raise The Pulse’ and ‘Chew You To Bits’. Together with the excellent tracks of their later released albums like ‘Blind eyes”, ‘Swerve’ Amnesia, Blackstar or yet “Rough” and their stunning visuals a Portion Control show is a must see!

Today Portion Control is still pounding, raw, violent and angry!

ARMAGEDDON DILDOS (D)

Armageddon Dildos (lang term for intercontinental ballistic missiles) is a German electronic music duo formed in 1989, known for their innovative fusion of industrial, electro, and EBM (Electronic Body Music). The band, founded by Uwe Kanka, emerged in the late '80s during the rise of the second "welle" of dark, experimental electronic music in Europe. Their sound is characterized by harsh, rhythmic beats, aggressive synths, and provocative, politically charged lyrics that explore themes of rebellion, alienation, and dystopia. Armageddon Dildos’ music often challenges societal norms and reflects the darker side of modern existence.

The band's early releases, such as That's Armageddon(1991) and Homicidal Dolls (1993), cemented their place in the underground scene, earning them a loyal following. Throughout their career, they have released numerous albums that continue to reflect their evolving sound while staying true to their industrial roots. Armageddon Dildos has become a cult favorite, influencing the development of dark electronic music and leaving a lasting impact on the EBM and industrial music scenes. TYSKE LUDDER (D)

Tyske Ludder is a pioneering German industrial and EBM (Electronic Body Music) band formed in the early 90s. Known for their hard-hitting rhythms, aggressive beats, and politically charged lyrics, they became one of the most influential acts in the underground electronic music scene. The band's sound blends industrial, synthpop, and dark electro, often exploring themes of totalitarianism, control, and societal issues. Tyske Ludder's early works, such as Bombt Die Mörder? (1994) and Dalmarock (1995), established them as key players in the German EBM movement. Their confrontational style, coupled with provocative imagery and anti-establishment messages, set them apart from other bands of the era.

Over the years, Tyske Ludder has maintained a loyal fanbase while remaining relatively underground, with notable releases like Evolution (2015) and Transformation (2022) continuing to define their sound.

DELERITAS (B)

Deleritas is an electronic (body) music duo from Liège composed of Onyx on keyboards and Sam on E-drums. Onyx started out as a DJ before wanting to offer his own creations. Evolving in the industrial and dark electro worlds, he wanted to set up a project that reflected his tastes but offered a musical universe that was different from the scene he loved so much. This is how he invited Sam, his brother, a drummer from the hardcore metal scene, to join the project. Inspired by their passions for genre cinema, video games and their sensitivity to current events, the two brothers compose pieces that are sometimes dark, sometimes hard-hitting but always echoing their feelings of the moment. They try different genres, sometimes inspired by techno, EBM and aggrotech but always trying to put their own stamp on it. Ultimately, Deleritas is an instrumental project rich in the complicity of the two brothers, the latter expressing themselves most naturally with their machines. Their debut album First Breath (2018) introduced their raw, unrelenting style. With a reputation for electrifying and "banging" live performances and a growing fanbase, Deleritas has become a notable presence in the Belgian dark electro scene. Their music continues to evolve, keeping the energy of EBM alive while incorporating new, cutting-edge sounds.

SKREN (D)

SKREN is a German electro/EBM project formed in the early 2000s, known for their aggressive sound, dark atmospheres, and hard-hitting beats. The band blends classic EBM elements with industrial and electronic styles, creating a high-energy, confrontational style that resonates with fans of harsh electro. SKREN’s music often explores themes of alienation, inner turmoil, and social critique. With their intense rhythms and gritty vocals, SKREN has earned a loyal following, becoming a staple in the dark electro and industrial communities. Skren has been releasing tracks through Soundcloud, Bandcamp & Youtube since many years now, evolving their sound, pushing the boundaries of EBM while maintaining their signature aggressive energy.
